While you are under hypnosis, I will share suggestions for positive behavioural changes that can support you to surmount your issues. Upon reentering usual conscious awareness, you can reflect on these recommendations and choose whether to accept or reject them.

Discussion of past encounters

Often, hypnotherapy involves discussing your first experience of the behaviour you are trying to tackle, and your feelings in that moment. I will use this information to gain insight into your situation, its unconscious roots and potential alternate behaviours you can adopt.

Hypnosis is a deeply relaxing natural state that feels similar to meditation. You can rest easy knowing you won’t be asleep or lose control in any way.

During this trance state, you are in total control. You only accept the suggestions that are given as they are consistent with your internal values and belief system.

Your unconscious mind is still listening and receiving everything it needs to receive.

Ranging from 30-45 minutes long, hypnosis recordings are ideal for listening to daily before bedtime. It is a great time for you to unwind, let go and totally relax.

Remember the results are your own. Listening to this recording consistently will only integrate these new habits and new behaviours faster, whilst allowing your nervous system to experience deep relaxation and an opportunity to reset.

The duration of your hypnotherapy session will depend on the behaviour you’re attempting to address, your progress to date and other personal factors. To give you a rough estimate, an average online hypnotherapy session tends to take one to two hours.

The number of hypnotherapy sessions needed varies according to the behaviour you are trying to overcome, as well as several other factors.

During your discovery call, I will listen to the goal you are trying to achieve and recommend a program for change. This can include a single session or several sessions over multiple months.

The effects of hypnotherapy have been shown to last a lifetime in many cases. However, results depend on a range of factors, such as your level of suggestibility, the goal you are pursuing and the extent of emotional blocks deep within your unconscious mind.

This is an experience where you are in total control of the results. Some clients experience a light trance, where they enjoy feeling completely relaxed and other clients experience a deep trance where they are deeper in their relaxation. Each time you practise hypnosis, you will experience a deeper trance state, if you choose to. Your results are your results.

Yes, hypnotherapy can help to tackle depression in conjunction with other therapies. Instead of targeting the symptoms of depression, hypnosis works to uncover and resolve its unconscious causes. Afterwards, suggestions may be used to motivate a more positive mindset. These suggestions can help you to overcome issues like low energy, poor self-esteem and insomnia.
